CHELSEA will not officially announce the signing of Romelu Lukaku before July 1 due to the Blues’ new kit deal.

Starsport understands the Everton talisman has agreed terms with Chelsea ahead of a summer switch.

 The Blues have agreed a deal worth in excess of £150,000 with the Belgian striker to return to Stamford Bridge.

 Everton say they want a world record £100m for the 24-year-old.

 But Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich won’t sanction paying so much for a player they sold to the Toffees for £28m three years ago.

 And according to the Daily Express, one of the things halting Chelsea announcing the signing of Lukaku is their kit sponsor.

 The hitman would have to pose in adidas merchandise with their current deal which runs out on June 30.
