Javier Hernandez set to complete West Ham move: Deal all but done

Javier Hernandez is set to join West Ham

The Bayer Leverkusen star has been heavily linked with a move to the London Stadium in recent weeks.

Hernandez, 29, is in talks with the Hammers over a return to the Premier League.

West Ham signed Manchester City keeper Joe Hart yesterday on a season-long loan.

And BetStars say the Hammers will spend again, with Hernandez's move to east London all but done.

BetStars Director of Trading Ian Marmion said: “After announcing the capture of England goalkeeper Joe Hart, West Ham United look set to continue their summer shopping spree by signing striker Javier Hernandez from Bayer Leverkusen.

“The 29-year-old Mexican, who has played for Manchester United and Real Madrid, is priced at 1/5 with BetStars to make Slaven Bilic’s side his next club.

“With this deal appearing to be all but done, it should give the social media whizzes in the West Ham PR team time to think up a creative way to announce his arrival on Twitter!”

Skite Sports journalist Dharmesh Sheth yesterday claimed Hernandez could make his debut against Manchester United.

“One move that is edging closer is the strike
Javier Hernandez,” Sheth said on Skite Sports News.

“It's our information a move from Bayer Leverkusen could be finalised in the next week.

“West Ham's opening game, yep, is at Hernandez's former club Manchester United.”
