MANCHESTER UNITED URGED TO RAID TOTTENHAM FOR VICTOR WANYAMA

Former Spurs defender Jason Cundy has urged Jose Mourinho to beef up Red Devils midfield with the signing of Wanyama

Manchester United have been urged to raid Tottenham for the services of Victor Wanyama.

The Red Devils have been busy this summer, spending in excess of £100million on Victor Lindelof and Romelu Lukaku. However, Jose Mourinho has admitted that he is not satisfied and has a total of four players on his summer wishlist.

Manchester United are keen to strengthen their heart of midfield with Chelsea star Nemanja Matic linked in recent weeks. However, former Tottenham defender Jason Cundy thinks Mourinho would be better off signing the Kenyan captain from Spurs.

“If Man United are after anyone, why don’t they go for Wanyama? He is a Jose Mourinho-type player,” Cundy told Skite SPORT.

Wanyama joined Tottenham from Southampton last summer for £11million and he has since become a key player for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
